Studio Casán
Studio Casán is a residential interior design studio rooted in Los Angeles, with 8+ years in the industry. Their work includes full remodels, new development, custom designed furniture pieces, refined vintage selections, and more. Each project is shaped by the same conviction that true luxury is a home that feels both sophisticated and deeply personal.
Every project begins with programming, identifying what a client loves, what they've collected, how they actually move through their home and live their life. These are the details that define a space far more than any trend. Before a single finish is selected, the studio invests deeply in the floor plan, setting Studio Casán apart from other firms. Refining the layout, interrogating the flow, and ensuring that the bones of the home are working as hard as the surfaces. It is unglamorous work, and it is everything.
The studio brings a deep network of luxury trade resources, fabricators, and vendors to every project, and the relationships to get things done right. Their process is structured and transparent, built around detailed project schedules, clear scopes of work, and investment planning tailored to what each client wants to achieve. Studio Casán takes on a select number of projects each year and finds their best work comes from clients eager to trust in their process.
Cassie Koch — Founder & Principal
Cassie grew up in the business. Raised in North Potomac, Maryland by a family whose work was in real estate, development, and construction, she was learning to read projects and properties long before she had the language for it, understanding instinctively how a home is put together, what makes it hold, and what makes it sing.
That foundation took her to Los Angeles, where she earned her degree in Architectural Interior Design from FIDM. What followed was a career spent at the intersection of design and real estate, advising celebrity and high-profile clientele not just on how a property looked, but on what it was worth and why. Her command of finishes, furniture, art, and heirlooms shaped how she thinks about materials, provenance, and the things truly worth investing in.
In founding Studio Casán, Cassie channeled all of it into a single practice. She brings to every project a designer's instinct for beauty and a builder's insistence on getting it right, a combination her clients describe as rare, and that she would simply call knowing what each home deserves.
Losing her home in the Palisades fire in 2025 changed how Cassie thinks about what a home is for. More than ever, she designs with the belief that a well-considered space is one of the few things that can genuinely ground you, a place that holds you when the world outside doesn't. She knows firsthand what it means to build a life inside a home, and what it means to start over. It is a perspective her clients feel, even when they haven't lost a home but are simply starting fresh in a new one.
